Our Solution
To address these challenges, we recommended a composite solution using our 128 kg/m³ ceramic fiber board. Our ceramic fiber board was chosen for its exceptional thermal resistance, low thermal conductivity, and high acoustic performance. The installation process involved sandwiching the ceramic fiber board between gypsum boards to create a robust and lightweight fire-resistant barrier. Additionally, fire-resistant expansion boards treated with intumescent paint were incorporated to enhance fire resistance.
Installation Process
- Preparation: The installation site was prepared by ensuring the surfaces were clean, dry, and free from debris.
- Gypsum Board Installation: Gypsum boards were installed on both sides of the partition wall, providing a stable base for the ceramic fiber board.
- Ceramic Fiber Board Installation: Our 128 kg/m³ ceramic fiber board was cut to size and carefully placed between the gypsum boards. The boards were secured using appropriate fasteners to ensure stability.
