What type of ceramic fiber blanket should be selected for thermal power plants? In thermal power plants, the selection of ceramic fiber blankets needs to be determined based on the actual operating temperature, working environment, and mechanical requirements of the equipment location. There is a huge temperature difference in different parts of the power plant, and there is no one level that can "eat the whole plant". After receiving a customer's inquiry, the editor from Rosewool Insulation Refractory Co.,Ltd. recommends a type selection plan for ceramic fiber blankets in power plants;
The thickness of ceramic fiber blanket is usually determined by the design institute based on thermal calculations (allowing maximum heat dissipation loss and anti scald surface temperature), but the national standard GB/T 16400-2015 has clear regulations on production specifications. Ceramic fiber blanket with long-term working temperature ≤ the upper limit of ordinary type, can choose ordinary type; Around 1000-1100 ℃, priority given to standard/high-purity models; Around 1200 ℃ or higher, consider high aluminum type; If the temperature is above 1300 ℃ or the hot surface condition is harsh, then use zirconium containing type. Selection type of ceramic fiber blanket for power plants:
For the vast majority of high-temperature areas (such as main steam pipelines and SCR reactors), it is recommended to use high aluminum type. It can provide sufficient safety margin and has the highest cost-effectiveness.
Zirconium containing materials must only be selected when the operating temperature approaches 1200 ℃ or when there are frequent thermal shocks or severe chemical erosion (such as in the combustion zone of a furnace).
If it is a medium low temperature pipeline or used as a backing: ordinary type can be selected without excessive configuration.
Grade: High aluminum type is selected for the main steam pipeline/SCR; Zirconium containing type is selected for furnace hot spot/turbine high-pressure cylinder; Ordinary type is selected for medium and low temperature.
Bulk density: 128 kg/m ³ is preferred, and 96 or 160 can be selected for special requirements.
Thickness: According to thermal calculations, 50mm is commonly used; production and deviation must comply with GB/T 16400-2015.
