What are the construction steps and precautions for refractory castables? Refractory castable is a commonly used material for lining high-temperature equipment such as industrial kilns and hot air stoves, which can withstand high temperatures and corrosion, extend equipment life, and ensure the safety and stability of the production process. Refractory castables are widely used in metallurgy, refining, chemical industry, power, steel, glass and other fields. Key precautions for pouring material construction

1、 Material control
Mixing of refractory castables of different models and brands is strictly prohibited; Clean tap water should be used for mixing, and sewage, seawater, or water containing impurities should not be used.
If the mixed material shows initial setting or clumping, it is strictly prohibited to add water for secondary mixing and should be directly discarded.
2、 Construction environment
The construction environment temperature should be controlled between 5-35 ℃. If it is below 5 ℃, insulation and heating measures should be taken. If it is above 35 ℃, sunshades should be erected and cooling measures should be taken to avoid rapid dehydration of the material.
Outdoor construction is strictly prohibited on rainy or windy days to prevent rainwater from washing away the material or rapid evaporation of moisture from the material.
3、 Post protection
Before the oven is completed, it is strictly prohibited to put it into use or withstand high temperature impacts; Avoid frequent alternation of hot and cold in daily use to extend the service life of the casting material.
Construction personnel are required to wear protective masks, gloves, and other labor protection equipment to prevent dust inhalation and skin contact.
